Welcome to hobbyist beekeeping log book!

I have started this site as virtual log book of my beekeeping hobby. Beekeeping is not my main profession, so I am learning it as I go. All my activities, observations and mistakes would be useful for anyone else who wants to get other approach and way to make mistakes 🙂

My bees colonies are located in Australia, Western Sydney, so here we have different seasons and might be confusing when rest of world gets winter, here in Australia is summer and bees are booming and swarming. Even winter in my location is mild and bees do not hibernate the colony and collecting nectar and pollen for few hours a day.

As the begin I have started recording any events related to beekeeping, even if they might be not directly linked to it. I would try to keep posting on regular base as that helps a lot to trace something unusual in bees colony behaviour.
